We are delighted to provide a positive sustainability update following a detailed review & analysis of our 2025 environmental performance data. Sustainability remains a core value for us, and we closely monitor our progress to ensure we are continually improving. This tracking shows that our carbon footprint score has reduced by 10% between 2022 and 2025. Alongside this ongoing monitoring, 2025 saw measurable progress across several key areas – from reduced paper consumption and lower fuel usage to increased renewable energy generation.

One of the most noticeable improvements in 2025 was a further reduction in paper usage. Paper consumption fell 18% in 2025 compared with 2024, and since 2022 our paper usage has reduced by 50%. This reflects our continued move toward digital documentation, improved workflows and a wider commitment to reducing unnecessary waste.

Our transition toward electric vehicles is also beginning to deliver measurable results. Fuel costs in 2025 were 8% lower than in 2024, reflecting the increasing number of electric vehicles within our fleet. As older vehicles are replaced and the fleet continues to transition towards fully electric options, we expect the savings and emissions reductions to grow further.

Our solar panel installation also continues to generate significant clean energy. In 2025 we produced enough solar energy to make the equivalent of over 125,000 cups of tea, up from 108,000 cups the previous year — an increase of around 16%. While solar generation is naturally influenced by weather conditions and sunshine levels, these figures demonstrate the value of our long-term investment in renewable energy.

While 2025 delivered encouraging progress, sustainability is a long-term commitment. By continuing to invest in cleaner energy, reducing waste, transitioning our vehicle fleet, and engaging our staff and partners, we remain focused on making meaningful improvements year after year. Small changes, consistently applied, create lasting impact — and we look forward to building on this progress in the years ahead.
