The Team behind Bloomberg Award Win Recognised
Back in March, we joined Crestron & some of the team from Manchester Metropolitan University at the Business School to celebrate the success of the Bloomberg Trading Suite and recognise the many people behind its delivery. The project was recently awarded Best Content Application at the Crestron Europe Integration Awards in Barcelona, highlighting the strength of collaboration between the University, Roche AV Pro and Crestron. Created as a flagship facility, the trading suite replicates the fast-paced environment of a professional financial trading floor. Powered by live Bloomberg data and supported by a highly flexible AV infrastructure, it gives students access to the same tools and workflows used across the global financial sector. Several years in the making, the project is a powerful example of what can be achieved through true partnership. The result is a transformative learning space that is helping the Business School equip students with the practical skills and experience they need to succeed. Professor Hannah Holmes, Dean of the Business School, said: “I am delighted to see the Bloomberg Trading Suite recognised with the Best Content Application award. This reflects the outstanding collaboration between colleagues across the University and our partners at Roche AV Pro and Crestron. The suite has transformed our finance offering, giving students access to an immersive, industry-standard environment powered by live Bloomberg data.
