Project Overview
Building on the success of the Huddersfield Town Fan Zone, Roche AV Pro worked in close partnership with the club to modernise AV technology across multiple areas of the stadium. The project delivers a consistent, high-quality AV experience for fans, hospitality guests, media, and staff while replacing legacy infrastructure with modern, flexible solutions.
Riverside Club
The Riverside Suite underwent a full AV modernisation, transforming an outdated area into a premium hospitality suite. There are ten LG commercial displays across the space - four of these are mounted on columns. The old TV shelves have been replaced with custom Unicol column clamps to give a cleaner, professional look. For big screen entertainment and presentations the suite also has three Epson EB-L series laser projectors and 4m electric screens that are recessed into the ceiling when not in use. Blustream transmitters & receivers deliver UHD video over IP with low latency to all displays and projectors, allowing content from multiple sources to be routed anywhere in the suite.
Audio in the Riverside Suite is handled by a twelve Cloud ceiling speaker array, complemented by eight Ecler wall speakers for zoned coverage. The suite also features a Sennheiser Speechline wireless microphone system with handheld and tie-clip/lapel options providing clear and reliable coverage for presenters. Control is provided via Crestron touch panels, enabling intuitive management of video, audio, projection, and microphones across the space. Together, these elements create a flexible, immersive hospitality environment suitable for corporate events, presentations, and matchday hospitality.

The Result
1908
New for the 2025/26 season, 1908 is designed specifically for those who want the very best match day experience and offers unrivalled comfort with exceptional service. The 1908 Hospitality Lounge was designed to deliver a premium guest experience. Keeping continuity with other areas in the stadium, LG commercial displays are supported by Unicol bracketry. Six LG displays are mounted on Unicol back-to-back kits along with 2 larger wall mounted displays. This coverage allows clients to watch games, sports news and more. As in the Riverside Club the audio system incorporates an array of twelve Cloud ceiling speakers and features a Sennheiser Speechline wireless microphone system. This premium space is suitable for corporate events, presentations, and corporate hospitality.
Club Shop
In the Club Shop, the AV enhancements were designed to improve the retail atmosphere and fan engagement while making effective use of the club’s existing display screens. A Unicol back-to-back suspension mount was installed to ensure digital content can be viewed clearly from multiple angles, allowing fans to see promotions and club messaging both when entering the shop and while browsing the retail space.
A focus of the installation was on delivering clear, evenly distributed audio throughout the environment. Eight Cloud speakers - ceiling and pendant - provide consistent sound coverage across the shop floor. The system is supported by a live radio audio feed, helping to create an energetic, engaging atmosphere that enhances the overall matchday shopping experience.
Press Box
The Press Box received a complete mounting solution for 32 existing displays, utilising Kramer HDMI transmitters, receivers, and cabling to distribute signals reliably across multiple sources. This upgrade ensures a high-performance AV environment for journalists and broadcasters, delivering clear, consistent feeds from around the stadium.
The Result
As the club’s official AV partner we have supported a progressive refresh of key areas including the Club Shop, Press Box, 1908 Lounge and Riverside Club as well as areas including Kilner Bank and the training ground. This programme has provided a consistent, high-quality AV standard across the entire estate.
Across these environments, more than 25 Unicol mounting solutions were deployed, ranging from simple fixed wall brackets and projector PSUs through to back-to-back display mounts and custom column clamp solutions. This breadth of mounting infrastructure ensures a uniform, robust and professional installation standard across all areas, regardless of application or space constraints. With further developments already planned, we looks forward to continuing our collaboration with the club, building on this strong foundation to further enhance the matchday and visitor experience through innovative and reliable AV solutions.
